I climbed on an actual rock, not the fake boards with the stick out ledges that you pay to climb on in the city. This whole week has been all about getting out of my idolized comfort zone, so there I am, crawling up one of the harder rocks pretending to be a man as my knees were being destroyed.
Driving to the spot where we would begin our hike was a lot more fun with the windows down and loud music. Taking silly pictures with everyone and anyone before each adventure we had; I couldn't imagine a better afternoon. Also, thumbs up for my Pikes date who had no idea we were taking this picture.
I climbed high enough on the tree so that when I jumped, my feet would hopefully latch on to the spot I had my eyes on. It was a very vulnerable feeling, to leap into the air in front of me with nothing to secure my safety. Somehow I made it and worked my way up to the top, which the guys said no girl had ever done on her first rock climb. My pride made itself known.
High fives all around! Just call me miss spider woman. I MADE IT TO THE TOP!

Generating to the identify where we would start our increase was a lot more fun with the ms windows down and noisy songs. Getting foolish images with everyone and anyone before each experience we had; I could not think about a better mid-day. Also, thumbs up for my Pikes time frame who had no concept we were using this image.
