mini vacation

I'm back and you didn't even know I was gone. Yay for scheduled blog posts.

The sun was still hiding from the world when my family chose to begin our road trip to Branson. We packed up our belongings Thursday morning and headed toward the destination of our vacation. Over a span of three days, we shopped for sixteen hours. My mom and I can get a little extreme.

With a massive amount of bobby pins I was able to put my hair in a top knot. Pretty proud of myself. (An inverted bob makes it extremely difficult. I miss being able to effortlessly put it up!)

We aren't a perfect family but our problems make us, us. This vacation taught me to look beyond what I'm wanting out of a family and see what I've been given instead. I'm very blessed. We were able to bond and we had so much fun together. It was fantastic!

Family trips are great. I hope everyone has had a relaxing Christmas break!
