Between my roommate and my mom's hard work, this cute lingerie party turned into a partayyyy. Since I fell in love with a handsome guy and we decided "hey, let's get married" all of my friends showered me with love and hugs and kisses this weekend. Seriously I have the best people in my life like wow oh wow.
What a cute little greeting. My roommate ended up planning this whole shower (basically by herself) and stayed up until 3 that morning making sure everything would go smoothly. She even woke up early to start decorating because everyone that was supposed to help showed up way late or didn't even come. She went out of her way even when she barely had any time and no one has ever done that for me before.
My mom showed up early to make sure a buffet of food was ready before the party even started. Oh goodness, who can refuse monkey bread, waffles, and bunt cake?! No one. Absolutely no one.
We made wedding dresses out of toilet paper and my team won but it was awesome getting to dress up in toilet paper with someone I've been friends with since my very first semester as a little wittle freshman in college.
So I'm kind of an enthusiast when it comes to fonts. It's pretty lame but a perfect day to me is sitting on Adobe InDesign and downloading/finding beautifully scripted fonts. One of my friends I used to work as an RA with (we loved to love on our Freshman hall of girls together) painted me this incredible thing and my oh my look at the FONT!! Where's the download button?! It's going right by my design desk in the Living Room first thing when I move in to the apartment. It makes me smile even bigger than what you see in the picture.
My soon-to-be mom in law is so fantastic and got us a butt load of present that I opened at the shower after the panty party!
Goodness gracious am I blessed or what? Also Creed got to open a wedding gift that night and he didn't get pumped over our new super awesome expensive silverware like my mom and I did but he will appreciate it later. I'll give him 40 years and ask him how he likes the silverware then.
My panty party was the best one ever. Also, I'm wearing my wedding shoes so feel free to ooh and ahh because they are worthy of so much adoration. I think I'm in love with a pair of shoes, eek! (tip: scroll up and you can see them in the first picture with my mom)
