I couldn't become a Burkhead without these five beautiful friends of mine. I popped the question and they each said yes so what a relief I have five fantastic bridesmaids.
The night before our photoshoot I realized I didn't have a white/cream colored dress to wear so I frantically called one of my bridesmaids who went shopping with me. I fell in love with the skirt I'm wearing in the pictures and then loved them so much I asked my bridesmaids to wear them for the wedding, which ended up saving $500 total on bridesmaids outfits! Hats off to Maurices.

These girls are so supportive and loving and fantastic in every way. I rented out a dance studio right by the venue so that we can get ready in a room full of mirrors together while blasting music. We have planned spa parties, craft parties, my bachelorette party in Branson, and everything is just so much fun with these girls involved!

Props to Becca Hope Photography for taking all of these pictures. She's so fantastic! If you live around the Searcy area check her facebook page out because she rocks socks.
#becomingaburkhead is going to be great. I'm in the process of making a scrapbook that starts from the day Creed first saw me to the day before we get married, which describes how I "became a Burkhead." This little pet project has been my little ray of sunshine in the midst of my huge to-do list of project after project.
Cheers to my bridesmaids and Creed and our soon to be wedding. xoxo

ReplyDeleteThanks!! It's actually a skirt and I just tucked a neutral color top in it :) Way cheaper than buying bridesmaid dresses from David's Bridal! Hahah :) Thanks for stopping by girl!! Glad I found your blog the other day! Such a deep post.
