I might be exaggerating with the calorie thing but I think I ate too many cupcakes. This Bridal show had so many cake-makin' companies that were giving away all these cupcakes and I couldn't help but grab one from every booth. They were all so yummy but I made myself super sick all night because of sweetness overload.
Being a bride is fun because everyone gives you coupons and free stuff at Bridal Shows. Going there basically made me realize how much I already have checked off of my to-do list & how much money we saved by not going to these vendors and finding our own.
Got my planner filled with commercials, basically.
Oh & there's this Bridal fashion show my mom and I stayed to watch. My dress was a million times better than any dress they had on the models. Every fiber of my being wants to show everyone my dress but I know I have to be patient and wait like normal people do. It's just hard to be normal when I found the best dress in the world and I can't even show it off to anyone until the end of May.
Also my heels are to die for & they should be shipped out tomorrow. Eeeeeeeee!
I've had conversations with this cool dude over the phone but when I passed his booth, I didn't realize that this was my DJ! Anyways I made him take a picture with me so I could show him off and also ask you to go check out his insta & facebook!
WE WON A FREE HONEYMOON AND WEDDING BANDS! Don't know what is up with us winning everything but it sure is a huge blessing to our wallets! I'll post more details on that later when I know more.

ReplyDeleteI can't wait to go to a bridal show but you're right, there are ways to save without going to vendors. I'm looking at just buying save the dates and wedding invitations from an Etsy shop or something simple.

ReplyDeleteYes, such a huge blessing! I was amazed at the price difference (1/3 of the price) that I was able to get by going my own way while Wedding planning. I ordered mine from Wedding Paper Divas, they offer a lot of sales if you sign up for them by e-mail! But Etsy is great, too! Thanks for stopping by Jasmine!

so so awesome. I found bridal fairs to be a little sensory-overloady... which makes absolutely NO sense why I just decided to BE IN one... Whew. I dunno. I started designing mostly bridal shower type invitations and reception inserts last summer for my sister's wedding, and now I am taking it on part time with some rentals, custom bride tees, etc. Kind of a hodge podge idea right now but I'm excited!! Totally agree! It was a little too crazy for me as well in some parts. I felt closed in with all the people haha! I made it as fun as possible though :) Oooooh if I would have known that you did invitations and stuff I would have ordered from you to support your little business! :( I wish I would have know this a few weeks ago haha.
