It's the time of year to welcome all the new anchor girls to Sigma Phi Mu. Recruitment started last week with Open House and it was fantastic getting to meet all the girls looking at our club. I love getting to explain to all the freshies about how much Sig Phi rocks.
It's nice to not be a pledge and be an older member. Now I'm the girl that gets to welcome the new pledges in with open arms.
We are the RA's for Party Cobb, the people who make sure all our lovely girls are in their rooms by curfew. I have absolutely loved the transition of working for a new dorm as a Junior, these girls make staying up every night to check rooms bearable.

Growing up in Australia, this is something I never got to experience! Watching so many American movies as a teenager always rubbed it in my face that I would never get the sorority option. Hence, I love seeing posts like this :)
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! I wish you were here so you could come join this awesome experience! :) My college has sorority type clubs just without all the drinking. We read the Bible together instead! Haha!
