Every time I head off on one of my little vacations to Texas I try to take a break from blogging. No advertising my posts (this is seriously so hard for me), no visiting other people's blogs, no stalking blogs, letting my posts run as I scheduled them, no checking on my stats constantly, and leaving my blog e-mail alone. My blog breaks are a complete failure and of course I end up checking my e-mail every night along with my stats because staying away from my website is like staying away from chocolate chip cookies. Not possible.

I flew first class to the airport in Dallas and felt like a pretty cool cat. It's pretty incredible when I look down and see all the cute clouds and know that my God made those. Also, I got caught up on all my editing while on the plane so that was a big fat bonus to the trip.

Unfortunately, I did not even think to pull out my camera on my vacation so I do not have as many pictures to tell all the stories I wanted to tell. So I'm going to tell stories without pictures. Sorry, not near as much fun I know.

Five Guys is good. The kind of good that makes you feel like taking a nap for four hours when you're done, that's my kind of good. My mom picked me up from the airport and we had so much fun together!

There are these stories about my last Texas trip that I accidentally left in my drafts (I have a horrible habit of that) so I am just going to throw them in this post because it meant the world to me and I just can't keep them to myself:

I stepped inside their home and could smell the food on the grill. His mom had bought several of my favorite scents from bath and body works along with red velvet cupcakes to celebrate my twentieth. They sang me happy birthday and made me feel so, so loved.

He held my hand the whole way there, we were headed to an enormous mall where he said he had a surprise. I walked into the first store and my boyfriend told me, "anything you want up to $100 is yours, happy birthday" so there were hearts in my eyes for a solid hour or two, maybe three.

Okay story time over. Just had to share how lovely my life is with Creed and his family in it! They make me feel so special and of course, Creed makes me feel like his princess twenty four seven.

Went on a three hour double date with one of Creed's friends from high school. Isn't he cute?

Make sure to come back because I am posting on summer style that involves a floral romper and some pretty cool earrings made in another country.
