well, i'm twenty

I have been breathing for two decades now so if that doesn't deserve a celebration I don't know what does. My two best friends made separate road trips to make my birthday weekend special and it was the best ever.

It isn't the day that matters, it's the overwhelming response from those I have grown closer to over the past twenty years of my life. I have had stories sent to me over text about how I have impacted them as a person and some of my campers from last summer saved up their money to buy me something special. God has spoiled me, I tell ya. I have two finals tomorrow for these lifeless online classes I am enrolled in and honestly, I was planning on spending my birthday weekend being lame and studying with my nose in my books. My friends have just spoiled me with their incredibly loving hearts and I have never felt so important in my life.

I am thankful. So very, very thankful. Friends have driven a total of four hours to come see me for a day, so many of my friends have paid for my meals, given me the much needed girl time I have been craving lately, listened to me vent, and reminded me again and again how much they loved me. Indeed, they do. I never have to doubt things like that.

Turning twenty is pretty cool.
