Chloe and I are obsessed with anything to do with DIY, giving us a million ideas for projects that can be done for her apartment.This summer was supposed to be full of DIY magic but honestly life + responsibility grabbed a hold of that idea and sent it away. Pinterest of course was used as a catalyst for the list of projects but before we started on these projects we wanted to find the perfect rug.
Choosing a light colored rug was crucial to finish the look of her living room and we spent a lot of time online looking for different brands, prices, and what sites had quality rugs versus which ones didn't. Floorsusa.com was one that impressed both of us the most and we easily found multiple carpets that fit our taste, style, and price range. The blue chair was perfect to tie in the colors and we added a pink cushion.
This rug ended up being super simple, but it was perfect for the room because of the various designs surrounding her living area. Floorsusa.com had so many great options that it made it hard to choose! We found this vintage looking suitcase at a garage sale in town for a few dollars and decided to purchase it just for the sake of decoration.
p.s. online school is kicking my butt but as soon as these classes come to a close I am introducing a lot more fashion so stay tuned after the shorts series for some fashion inspiration that doesn't involve summer shorts.
