I don't take breaks, I am not the type to be found "slowing down" for anything or anyone. My mind is constantly making more plans to fill every time slot in every day, and only when my planner is full is when my heart seems to be content.

Creed's mom found a way to make spending a week with them in Texas possible. For the first time ever I spontaneously dropped all my plans for a whole week, packed up that night, and left that morning. I felt free from all the deadlines, projects at work, coffee dates, and mindless small talk. Creed and his parents have thoroughly spoiled me. Part of me wishes I never had to leave but the other part knows I need to be a responsible adult and go back to work.

First whataburger experience since I was a tiny tot. Arkansas needs to get more of these.

Creed took me to the pool two days ago and found out I couldn't swim and when you have a fish for a boyfriend that's a big deal. Also, spa pedicures make me feel like a princess where the heck has this magical experience been my whole life? & I can now take selfies with a professional camera so that discovery made my day, as lame as that sounds.

Spontaneous vacation in Texas ends tomorrow, this has been one of the best weeks of my life.
