I have four jobs that can be kind of stressful at times. Being an RA is one of my many roles/jobs at Harding and I absolutely l o v e it. We are upper classmen that live in a freshman level dorm who have been given a hall of our own girls to take care of. I go to a private school that has curfew so we check to make sure our girls are in their rooms at midnight.
Being an RA is one of the best titles I have ever had. So many talks about boys, Jesus, and life have been started up after curfew and I go to bed with so much joy afterward. This job is an obvious opportunity for ministry and I am so thankful I get to represent God to freshman!
These are the ladies that run second floor with me. All the late night talks and parties with my girls are so encouraging. I was blessed with a hall of fifteen beautiful women that seek to find God in everything they do.
I love being an RA and have the best co-workers/boss ever.
hi! i'm a new reader and i tried your all natural hair mask......any tips on the mess? i was literally slopping the mixture into my hair and spilling drops all over the place. pretty much looked like a circus act. haha.
ReplyDeleteHey! Yes actually I should have put that on the post. I started putting the mask in in my shower that way clean up is super easy! Just turn on the water and let it all go down the drain :) I used to use the sink but like you said, it gets to be a circus act! haha
DeleteI wanted to be an RA really bad when I first was applying to colleges. But I am really quiet and shy so I thought it probably wouldn't be the best for me even though I know its a great way to make new friends.
ReplyDeleteOh you should have went for it! :) I'm sure you would be such a great RA!! We have some shy RA's that I work with, the girls love them!
