Beautiful weather made itself known so I pulled out my patterned shorts & sandals. Introducing the freshman to campus was an awesome experience because I got to invite newbies into the best school ever. Welcome to Harding, where the campus lifts you spiritually, challenges you academically, and gives you a million reasons to smile. I'm a proud Bison.
Firehouse subs is where it's at. Ever since I realized this place puts italian food in bread it has become a constant craving. Firehouse meatball sandwiches are going to be the reason I have to make an exercise schedule this semester.
This weekend I am headed on a retreat for Outreach America. I was asked to present a speech on the mission work my group has been doing in the community we have recently partnered up with. Never before have I had to talk about a project that I am in charge of, it felt nice. So for the next few days I will be living in a hut & encouraging people to join me & my mission team in our quest to change the world.
