dressing up withdrawals

A whole summer of bug infested cabins and cold showers can make a girl crave dressing up. Going without makeup has been great but I miss getting ready in the mornings and feeling pretty throughout the day.

Talent show night is the night where everyone dresses up. We wear our nice clothes & fix our hair & put on makeup & take our time getting ready. With this being my only girly night every two weeks I have started thinking about dressing up a lot more when I get to school.

I was growing through Simons.ca and found  lot of the cute dresses I see on Pinterest at a great price. I fell in love with this dress because I can see myself dressing it up in so many different ways. My favorite was this dress though & it was only $20! Most of the online shopping I have done involve really expensive clothing and I can never let myself pull out my debit card for such a high price. But what I like about this shop is that they have super reasonable prices, something I can actually afford. 

I don’t mind going without showers, never being able to fix my hair, and not putting on makeup. It has been a humbling experience but I have been jumping on every chance to look and feel like a girl again. The fashion side of this blog has stopped for a few weeks because I haven't been home to take outfit pictures. I miss fashion blogging & thinking about all the creative outfits I could wear. I miss reading all of your different blogs every day. I miss going to coffee shops and typing out all of my emotions like I used to. I miss publishing my thoughts. 

One more week and camp is over. One more week and I will become an active blogger that will no longer schedule two months of blog posts at a time and then leave. One more week and I will be in college again. 

Dressing up withdrawals are serious. My inner girl never left me, though.
