hiking & paddle boats

I went on a hike with my mom and grandma the other day when I finally got a day off of work. She promised me a roaring waterfall and it turned out to be a tiny stream. The weather was perfect though and it was great to spend time with them.

We tried to soak up some sun on the paddle boat while we admired the lake. It was a beautiful day to get a leg workout in chacos. Those blue dots on my legs are not linked to a disease, someone painted me blue last week while we were working on a pool outside for the kids.

The best part of painting a pool is when you make your hand blue then smack someones butt. We all had handprints on various places all over our bodies and afterward we figured out the paint doesn't wash out. So worth it.
