The filet mignon went well with my apple juice. My dads fancy grilling skills were put to good use as the Green Egg cooked the meat to perfection. 

We play the redneck version of this game, where you just throw it and hope it lands by the white ball. The winners of the game got to throw two water balloons at the losers, so it got pretty competitive. 

Smores are my favorite, especially on nights like this. We sat around the fire and talked and laughed about everything and nothing all at once. Family nights need to happen more often because I can't remember the last time we actually did something like this together. At least over five years! 

My back muscles were pulled and parts of my back are swollen. Picking up the kids at camp and doing a lot of lifting and heavy work has given me some problems. I'm hoping that I will recover quickly and be able to pick up my kids again.
