college face


This is my college face for the beginning of my Spring semester. 

It's been a few days and I already have four papers breathing down my neck. But hey, at least I enjoy what I'm studying. Changing my major to Child Life was one of the best decisions of my college career. I love this field so much and I am going to be able to help people psychologically through extreme illnesses for the rest of my life. I am pretty much going to have the best job ever. 

I have found that even though typing up 20 pages of outlined material on Microsoft Word kind of stinks, hot chocolate and a love for the material make it better. 

My heart still hurts because I'm not holding his hand anymore but the pain is worth it. I don't need to be with a guy who continually treats me like I'm not worth his time. So that's that and I'm trying to recover.  I long for the day I never think of him again. Erasing everything would be so much easier. 

I'm smiling and I'm happy and I'm praying that all of those who read this have a fantastic day. (your awesome emails encourage me so much! I love you guys!)

    I'm a college student as well...not looking forward to starting back to college this coming week. Great post Haley and I liked your pictures!! : ) Hope your heart recovers soon from the hurt!! I hope you have a fantastic day!

    Good luck with getting over him - never easy. I am jealous you are still in college studying what you love, savor it, the real world is rewarding but hard! Good luck with your papers!

    I'm really happy for your studies. I've thought about changing my studies too, but not sure at all yet. Yours sound to be really nice, interesting and rewarding job in the future! I study cultural management at the moment, event producing etc.

    Well, lucky you! School started back up for us on Monday. I about died looking at all the syllabuses. May can't get here soon enough :)
