Once upon forever ago, I was a person without a high school diploma. I was the senior who went all out in the student section for Friday night football games. We were the seniors who made the typical waffle house trip and then went out and celebrated victories. You could possibly find me and my friends singing and dancing in the ditch of Starbucks by the highway talking to policeman over whether we were drunk or not. Or you could laugh at how much of an idiot I was as I sang every song with a squeaky voice while Lindsey hit the "dying walrus" noise.
All the cool college kids roll down their windows and blare the music so that when they sing, they can't be heard. Also, they tend to watch The Little Mermaid at midnight instead of go on dates and stuff. And if you are as cool as we were last night then you would be caught at Target trying on weird hats or hiding behind trash cans by a main highway waving at all the cars that go by. I love to say that college has not helped either of us grow up and we still pee in our pants over the same type of humor and stupidity.
We aren't the typical girls and that's why I love her.
I miss getting to giggle over stupid stuff and not think about what I have to know for the upcoming exam or where I have to be in a few hours or my to do list accomplishments. It's nice to be somewhere and not have to worry, because I feel as if all I do now is worry. I needed a blast from the past because I kind of miss my high school a little. It was just a great feeling to be back doing the same ole dumb stuff.
Immaturity at it's finest, people. That's us.
