College makes me want to look at my toes too much.
Partly because I just painted my toenails and fingernails two amazing colors, and the other part is because my toes are more entertaining than the books I had to study for over 13 hours yesterday. These classes are getting to me because of how intense this schools science department is. Sometimes, I feel like telling my professors to "chill out" and make this class a little more possible to pass. Chemistry is not exciting, psychology is time consuming, and history just makes me yawn a lot.Putting aside the negative attitude, at least I have my purple toes to look at when my brain is about to explode. I would be no where without my friends and study buddies. I'm thankful I'm at Harding, because I'm not sure if I would be given this amount of encouragement from any other campus. My professor might be a little insane, but he is always willing to help me when I'm on his office floor bawling (only happened once.. embarrassing, right?). I love my parents who tell me how much I deserve and how strong I am 24-7. I love the people who keep me away from the bad things in my life, because without them, I'd have bad things in my life.
Adding a little positive spin to this thing was a good idea.

Love the positive thoughts! And mostly I love the comment about looking at your toes because the textbooks etc are so much more boring. I always give myself a close fingernail examination during church, because, well, what else is there to do while you're just sitting there?!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Monday!
Awww! What a sweet comment! Thanks girl. I understand about the whole church thing, my fingernails are always better after Sundays! :)
DeleteCompletely understand. College is rough sometimes! My blog is my outlet for letting off some steam in between and after classes!
ReplyDeleteFollowed your blog and would love a follow back! (:
