greek adventure

A few days ago, I signed up for a huge Greek adventure as soon as the 2013 Fall semester of Harding starts. I will get to explore the lands Jesus has walked on by foot and see the biblical history that I've read about all my life. This is going to be a dream come true.

In just a year, I will be able to pray in the Garden of Gethsemane. Imagine what kind of prayer that would be. I'm not sure if I would ever want to stop talking to my God, I can't help but wonder how "real" the presence of God must feel in a place that Jesus' prayer was so intense it caused him to sweat blood. I'm excited that I get this amazingly unique opportunity to travel abroad as I'm conquering college credits, too.

I guess what I feel more than anything is thankfulness. Opportunities like this are once in a lifetime, and someone like me gets to experience them.
