floral oxfords
These shoes take me around campus even when I feel like walking is the last thing I want to do.
I feel like if these shoes could talk, they would tell you guys that I've been complaining a little too much recently. I am becoming a chemistry-involved hermit who gets ditched by her friends for boys (and I still remain without a boy). In other words, you could call me a loser. I am taking a class that makes me want to scream an eternal high note because I have so much anger after failing a test I studied 15+ hours for. And no, that is NOT an exaggeration. All this pointless effort I put into my grades just to make a higher F than the one I would've made without studying is a little discouraging. And when I say little, I mean wanting to give up completely. This love life of mine is non-existent unless you consider the guys who attempt at hitting on me with unpleasant motives or constant fights with the person you still love. Really, I wouldn't consider either of those much of a "love life." No guy just makes me think "wow, he's a gentleman. He's the kind of guy I would want to encourage me for the rest of my life." Instead I tend to think "stoooooop talking to meeeeeee." I don't need a guy, I just want a guy that meets my standards and will always encourage me through life. I attract some weird ones.
Okay so yeah, maybe my shoes are right. Maybe I do complain a little too much. Next semester will be a semester full of easy tests, a social life, saving up for Greece, and hopefully meeting my husband. I'm totally kidding about the last one. But for right now, I'm stuck in this semester and I just want to go live in a hole for a little while. I'm not saying forever or anything but I need some time to sulk. Stress is making itself at home in this body of mine and I'm not very fond of it.
Just a pair of floral oxfords tellin' their story. My bad.
