belly buttons and social clubs

The inspiration came from my suite mates squeals a few nights ago, when a body piercing became a bigger deal than it probably should have. Both of the girls lifted up their shirts to show off their new diamond belly button rings and I found myself becoming a little bit jealous. I've wanted my belly button pierced for three years now and now the people next door are cooler than me.

So now that I am inspired, I have decided that I am getting my belly button pierced and my plan-ahead personality already has the ring picked out on freshtrends.com (view the ring here).

On another extremely important note, my roommate and I are checking out the system of social clubs at Harding. Basically, there's a gym full of incredible clubs (or sororities, as most public schools call them) and as freshman, we choose which one we fit in.

Rain clouds poured all of their content on Searcy this weekend, and the whole campus became flooded. Being the kind of loser that studied for six hours on a weekend night, I was tired of sitting in the same chair in the same room and was desperate to get out. I called this my "rain conqueror" outfit and ran through the flooded streets to the closest coffee shop with my roommate singing songs from a musical.

I thought an overall update would be nice. Now you know I'm about to get an adorable belly button ring, I want to pledge a social club, and I have a beast rain conqueror outfit.
