don't eat carrots

All the cool kids wore glasses in Junior High. For some reason, it was the new "thing" to put on a pair of eyeglasses and pretend like your a nerd, one of those cute nerds. Instead of eating more carrots to promote awesome eye sight (like a normal child should) I ended up at the counter at Wal-Mart with reading glasses in one hand and my money in the other. I fell into the "you have to be cool and wear glasses like everyone else" trap.

I wore my reading glasses everywhere. Everywhere. I felt like I was finally a cool kid and by wearing the glasses I was "in." Day by day, the glasses I could see fine without slowly ruined my 20/20 vision. The perfect eyes I used to have aren't as perfect anymore and when I went to the eye doctor I found that my imperfect eyes needed real glasses, not fake ones. That must be the price you pay for trying to be cool when you weren't meant to be cool.

After a year of having my glasses, I misplaced them and haven't been able to find them for months.  When USA glasses emailed me, I couldn't help but laugh to myself because I actually needed a new pair of glasses. I went to their website to check them out first and the prices are surprisingly a half or a third of the price we have to pay for our pair of glasses in my town. The cheapest we offer is somewhere over $100, but at GlassesUSA.com the cheapest I saw was $38 and maybe even cheaper.

If any of my readers need or even want to buy glasses, I have some discount codes for you.

STOREWIDE OFFER - Take 15% off your entire order amount + FREE shipping (orders over $50). Code: FS15

If you need glasses, get some online eyeglasses. If you don't need glasses, get some online eyeglasses. Just kidding, don't ruin your eyesight!

Think of it like this, if you don't eat carrots you can look cool in glasses like me. Let's be "cool kids" together.

  1. but carrots are so yummy! ;P haha, I don't need glasses but I like wearing non-prescription ones (like, without anything) just because, like you, I think they're cool!
