Twenty fourteen has been a good teacher.
Become passionate. There has to be something that makes your skin crawl with excitement, giving you a reason to love life a little bit more than you already do. Passion is the key to truly living because without passion the world would be colorless. This year has taught me to pursue what I love and not let anything stand in my way.
Take chances. Trust yourself enough to let go of whatever is holding you back from moving forward. Your heart can only hurt for so long and the security of being alone starts becoming empty.
It is the unexpected that you should come to expect. My impulsive decision that favored a future in Web Design was a gutsy move that I definitely don't regret. For a girl who swore she would never fall in love before 25 it's pretty crazy to think I'm planning a wedding at 20. Whatever comes your way, take it. The most unexpected things turn out to be the greatest.
While I was busy loving life in twenty fourteen I ended up finding a guy, a future career, a purpose in life, and a future that has no connection to my past.
Cheers to the first post of 2015.
Happy 2015! I'm so ready for happiness, passion, and adventure this year! And on the note of love, you never know when you'll find it it's true. I found mine at 16... what..?! :) People ask how... and there just isn't a 'how'... it's a 'when' and it's completely out of our hands :) XO -Alexandra
