a day for mommy's

My mom deserves more than one day out of the year to be honored.

She has supported all of my dreams and did her best to make them come true. Without her, I would not be the person I am today. I make at least one phone call a week for either advice, big girl grownup problems, or catching up. Sometimes I honestly make up an excuse to call her just so that I can hear her voice after I have had a stressful day at work. My mom knows the balance between being my best friend and mother all at the same time, which is a hard balance to find!

A big thank you to my mommy's mommy for making my mommy. She's beautiful, isn't she? I wish I could show off all the wisdom and joy my mom keeps in her heart but that's a hard thing to show off. She is an incredible example of being a follower of Jesus Christ and I look up to her and her walk with God. I couldn't imagine life without her.

My mommy is the best mommy.

Also my brother loves me more than he acts like he does, especially when it comes to pictures. I just live up to the "embarrassing older sister" label a little too well sometimes.
