Goodwill trips are the fuel to this fashion blog. Sometimes I get in this thrifting mood and I have no other option but to spend my money on cheap name brand clothes. Of course I take my best friend (and faithful reader to this blog) because best friends make trips more fun!
I'm convinced that there is something inside of every woman that loves a good deal. I came up with a list of my goodwill tips for all of my followers that have emailed me about this!
>>> Make sure you are in a "thrifting super star" mood because looking through a crap ton of
clothes isn't fun when you are tired or grouchy.
>>> Friends are fun so bring them. Having someone to take pictures with, bounce ideas off of, and
have another available opinion on how hot you look in it can make or break a trip!
>>> Throw everything in the cart and try it on. You're already there so why not?
>>> Be creative. Get out of your comfort zone. Tuck things in, think about adding a bright colored
belt, tie the shirt in a knot at the bottom if it's too big, look in the men's section!
>>> ALWAYS make sure to look at the rack by the dressing room. All those clothes that were
absolutely adorable but didn't fit someone just right are waiting to be pounced on. This is where I
find some of my best items (and half off sometimes)
>>> Don't get discouraged and keep digging.
>>> Check for holes & stains because I mean you are thrifting, so be smart.
