Our group was great. We had five people total and we bonded in so many different ways! We were able to get closer over the community, over the family that welcomed us in their home for the week, over the kids, and over our love for God. It was fantastic.
Every morning we sang praises to God and concentrated on specific scriptures for the day. 7:30 am isn't so bad when you are surrounded by loving people and a loving God.
These girls have taught me the value of patience and compassion in some really trying ways. I have never been thrown against something out of jealousy before or grabbed so tight until a bruise formed. Until I worked with these kids, I never knew the importance of being able to overlook the circumstances and realize there is something deeper behind the action.
The bonds I made in this community cannot be beaten.
