road trippin'

My dad and I devoted a day to having a road trip in Arkansas. There were no solid plans and the trip turned out to be so much fun! We exhausted the newest album of Mumford & Sons because their music tickled our ears with deep lyrics and harmonies. Anything vintage and antique-like caught our eye from the road. One day I want to have a road trip that involves more than one state!

I was supposed to be on a plane to Greece in sixteen days but I canceled everything. I was looking forward to praying in the Garden of Gethsemane and backpacking around Europe but I truly believe God was calling me to stay in America. This semester will be full of opportunities to serve Him at Harding's main campus and I'm content with my decision of canceling my trip abroad.

Since Greece is no longer on my to-do list this Spring my dad decided to take me to Jerusalem and Scotland himself. These little towns in Arkansas were so much fun to drive through and of course I had to have my picture taken with the signs.

This is a beautiful tree in Scotland, Arkansas and the lighting was a photographers dream.

Thumbs up for road trips and quality time with my wonderful dad!
