tanning

If I told you I was getting tan, it would be a lie. I am turning into the color of something you would eat at Red Lobster. This banana boat tanning oil has a tiny amount of SPF so that I can get rid of my ghost-like color. White to red, red to a hot tan. I mean at least that's what I'm crossing my fingers for.

Honestly, I love being tan because I am more confident without makeup. Having a darker skin tone lets me get away with putting a lot less on. For right now I can't even put makeup on because my face is similar to a tomato so if summer has turned you into a tomato too, join the party. I have some aloe vera & pink lemonade, and I am really good at sharing.

Got back from my California trip today and I loved every second! Keep checking in this week because I took so many pictures!

  1. HALEY! I really have been reading your posts...like every single one of them, but I've just been too lazy to comment. Sad, I know.

I had a verrrryyyy bad sunburn on my face from field day at my school around 3 1/2 weeks ago. It seriously was the worst sunburn I've ever had in my life. I kept putting aloe vera on like it was my job. Man, it took for-ev-er to fade, but finally it got much better, and my face has kept a pretty good tan ever since. Oh, & just imagine having to go to school 2 days later with white circles around your eyes, because I wore my sunglasses the whole day and didn't put a drop of sunscreen on. That was just grand. NOT.

SO glad you had fun during your trip! Looking forward to all the pictures. :)

    xoxo,
