behind the scenes

"why the ink & anchor?"

Through this blog, I am able to express myself through writing. I have formed the habit of pouring out my feelings & emotions which has helped me journal my progress through some really dark times. I know a lot of bloggers who put details of what happened to them on their blogs, and props to you guys because I don't have enough guts. But I am still able to type out how I am feeling about the situations that happened, and that helps me grow more than anything.

The details of my situations stay forever  hidden in unpublished drafts. But this is what I consider my ink, and this ink has become my anchor.

My posts can be confusing without giving the event behind all the emotions I write about, besides mentioning a silly boy. & maybe one day I will be able to open up about what happened to me as some of my blogging friends have done, but I am not that brave. I have opened up very few people to the details of the abuse which started at fifteen. It's so easy to hide from the pain, but that's why I let my pain live on this website. When I see it as impossible to tell another person what happened, I write. This little corner of the internet is my ink & anchor, not my readers. I might not put a signature line at the end of every post for you, but I don't expect you to put a signature line at the end of your posts for me.

I have had a few emails on this so I decided to make a post about it. Thanks to all of my dedicated readers!
