walking in quicksand

Sometimes she lets her emotions think for her and it never turns out good.

It would be smart to walk away, but he's quicksand. Every move she makes she sinks deeper into a pit that pulls her closer to the bottom. All she wants is what he has even though it is no good for her. Her heart has attempted at feeling toward another guy so that her feelings might fade toward the one she loves. He was so sweet to her and so genuine, she always kept him on her mind. But the other guy was always there too and she underestimated the process of falling out of love. 

She turned all of his flaws into beauty when they should have been reasons to walk away. He had her fooled when he looked into her eyes, he knew her too well. He swore he never meant her any harm. It's almost become a habit to keep her around while keeping her confidence down also. She carries the story of their love with her while having the faith he will become the man she wants. The bitter truth is an ugly friend but logic fades away when he smiles. She's so mesmerized by his presence.

Giving him up is like giving up comfort, security, and the year she spent falling for him. She hopelessly searches for what they already found. She swears there is no one else like him but she fails to see that as a good thing. She needs someone different, and longs for someone different. She wants to be respected and cherished but she always seems to settle. Always.

Her mind will not let her escape the memories. She has slowly recovered and her heart has done so well at mending but then she swoons and everything goes downhill. Aj;eiwajfeijfewoiajf. Ugh. She hates how dependent she has become, it's like her drug. He only wants her because she makes him feel good and that's all he is ever worried about. 

I'm a little emotional right now, sorry. I have way too much free time on my hands since I'm on Christmas break and my mind has been going crazy. Only one more day.
