16 is too many

That guy turned 16 years old a few days ago. I don't know what happened to my little brother. He's not really "little" anymore. He's this boy that managed to grow into a man over night. Some people can't tell others of a close relationship between their brother or sister. I'm not one of those people, though. He and I are pretty tight when we want to be and even though I wish he was a girl, I'm glad I got stuck with him.

For his sixteenth birthday, we just ate a lot. My family is really good at eating.

There was cake, there was biscuits with chocolate gravy, there was eating out, and a box of pizza. In just a few seconds, we are about to have another meal to celebrate for the 100th time that my brother has turned sixteen. We have been celebrating this birthday for quite a while now. I'm going to admit that I am a bit jealous of all this birthday stuff. I haven't had a "birthday birthday" in awhile.

16th birthday : I was on bed rest and couldn't get enough oxygen all summer. I was literally stuck in bed, my body refused to move, and energy was something that I forgot existed.

17th birthday : My house was hit by that stupid tornado in April, so we didn't have a house all summer. We were all a little preoccupied with how much we hated weather problems last year.

18th birthday : That's coming up next month, and I will have my wisdom teeth taken out on my 18th birthday. When my mom told me she scheduled the appointment, I was a little bit upset.

It's okay, I'll go all out for my 19th birthday or something.
And please pray for everyone in this town. 16 is the number that allows you to get a drivers license.
