The day started off with a sip of grapette and a spoon for vanilla ice cream. It was the day where my cousin and I saw each other again after he moved to Oklahoma. It was the day that meant we got to fill our plates up with nana's homemade cooking. It was the day that celebrated fathers all across America, and the day I'm just now getting a chance to blog about.
All the picture taking wore me out, or maybe it was the five plates of food that ended up in my stomach. Either way, I found my way to the couch with a pillow and a blanket. There's nothing that says "happy fathers day" like a good nap and some good food, eh?
For the next few days, I will be at Harding in Searcy for Bison Stampede. Tomorrow I get my schedule for the classes I'm taking my first semester of college. You could say that the butterflies in my stomach are becoming a constant feeling, because they are. I'll be with my roommate for three or so days, which is a really good thing consider how much I really really love her.
