November something, 2011 goes down in Eagle history. No, I'm serious.
On this night, we beat the panthers. Those awful icky rivals of ours who tend to always kick our butts in everything we do. After the date of the game was set, Greenbriar scheduled Friday off so after the planned win on Thursday they could all go out and celebrate. What a cocky bunch they are, they expected to beat us.
Karma bit 'em in the butt, though. Because the score board loudly declared the Eagle victory and the student section flooded the field. People were crying, dancing, praying, taking pictures. It was a crazy fun night because us Eagles destroyed the Panthers. We don't get to say that very often.
So after winning the biggest game of the decade, five of us went to Sonic for half an hour while the rest went home. Way to end a big season, huh?
