You are beautiful. Why do us girls forget that all the time?
I see someone walk into a store with gorgeous hair, perfect makeup, and pulling off the whole "naturally beautiful" look and just think to myself:
"Why can't I be like her? Why do I have to look like this? I want to be prettier, I want to be more like... that."
America has taught us to value perfection. The perfect tan, the perfect hair, the perfect teeth, the perfect makeup. It just gets a little too extreme sometimes. Perfection is such an impossible standard.
You are who you are. Not the girl walking in the store pullin' off that look. Focus on how amazing you are. Not the fact that everyone else around you seems to look so good all the time. Look at who you are. Because honestly, you are beautiful.
Let's never forget our worth.
