Yes, I am in the process of growing out my hair after I decided to cut my hair short. I know, it isn't a drastic change. BUT.. That was three inches of my hair that was chopped off and my layers are so short I can barely pull it up. Sigh.
I found some natural ways to get your hair to grow faster and I thought maybe some of you guys would be interested!
- Brush your hair every night. I mean, I guess the little things help!
- Mix a teaspoon of honey with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and then beat in an egg yolk. Massage on hair in small sections. Wrap head with shower cap for 30 minutes; this is a great treatment for keeping split ends away which make it easier for your hair to grow.
- Keep those split ends trimmed! Seriously. Trimming your hair makes it grow faster. I mean, don't freakin' chop your hair off, but half an inch every now and then helps!
- Hot oil scalp massage. Why not, right?
- Beat up some egg whites and massage it through your hair, this is supposed to rejuvenate your hair and add vitamins which will help make your hair grow.
- Drink water. Drink, drink, drink!!!
- Do not blow dry. Eeeek! I'm gonna have trouble with this one.
- Protein filled food all the wayyyyy. Fish, eggs, stuff like that!
- Stock up on Vitamin B and your hair will get longer & thicker! It says potato water? That sounds disgusting.
- Deep conditioner treatment.
I think your hair looks great as is, but I hope you get it to a length you're happy with soon!
